1. G.R.O. INDEX - Civil Registration of :- BIRTHS, MARRIAGES & DEATHS in ENGLAND & WALES - since JULY 1st.. 1837.
N.B. This index is on 16mm. microfilm at REDRUTH, for which a magnifying glass might be useful, in conjunction with the microfilm reader. The films are arranged alphabetically - SURNAME and FORENAMES within each quarter - MARCH, JUNE, SEPT., DEC.
Remember - there is a SIX week period for the registering of Births, so a birth towards the end of Feb. may not be registered until April and will therefore appear in the JUNE quarter. N.B. THESE INDEXES ARE NOW ON MICROFICHE AT C.F.H.S. up to 1992
